Final Fantasy XV PC Release Possibly Leaked by Website

Pretty painfully for all the Final Fantasy fans out there who love using their computers as gaming machines, it is known that officially Final Fantasy XV won't be coming to Steam anytime soon.

Meanwhile, a Final Fantasy event is going to take place in March in which Square Enix is likely to reveal the release date of Final Fantasy 15. Of course, these could just be extra bits of code, added in case a PC release is coming or gets announced at some point, so this is definitely still in the rumor category. It'd be suicidal to not release on the biggest platform around, although Final Fantasy games usually take a tad bit longer to arrive on that platform. According to KupoNut, similar code was used for the Rise Of The Tomb Raider page. Yes, you read that correctly: Square Enix is making announcements to an announcement.

It is learnt from reliable sources that the release date of the game will be announced in a grand event, which will be held at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The previous games of Final Fantasy series are already available on Steam. As of writing, the references to Steam have since been removed, which further obfuscates whether or not FF 15 will receive a PC release at all.

In addition to the news, Square Enix has released three new screenshots of the game, which you can check out below. Do you believe it's a safe bet, or do you think that Square Enix should keep the game as a console exclusive? The upcoming action RPG is scheduled for a worldwide release in 2016, and a fan recently fueled rumors on social media about a PC version of Final Fantasy 15.

Apple may launch iPhone 5SE on March 15
