The First Justice League Concept Art Is Revealed

Warner Bros.is ramping up to its Wonder Woman solo movie, starting today with a new logo and social media pages.

Amazons were originally tasked with protecting the world but they've since abandoned their mission, a move that Wonder Woman questions. Our hero obviously disagrees, so she embarks on a journey into modern society to see if she can make a difference.

"Wonder Woman's one of the greatest superheroes out there, but people don't know her origin story the way they know Batman's origin story, or Superman's origin story", DC's Chief Officer Geoff Johns told director Kevin Smith.

The footage is absolutely gorgeous, and it looks like Jenkins and cinematographer Matthew Jensen are bringing a strong vision to the way the film is shot. It was also recently confirmed that another setting is World War I, with the last setting being present day, which will connect the movie to her appearance in the upcoming Justice League Part 1. "It's the story of a very powerful woman". As the footage proves, because the character lives among the gods, she's been around for quite some time. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gal Gadot gets a modified Wonder Woman costume but we have to admit that we still love the traditional outfit the best.

Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Saïd Taghmaoui, David Thewlis, and Robin Wright, Wonder Woman opens in the United Kingdom and USA on June 23rd, 2017.

"Telling a story of this now is pivotal and important", Pine said in the teaser.

The handsome 30-year-old actress was shown in the entire iconic warrior princess garb of the Amazon in the first look for Wonder Woman aired on Tuesday night. The voiceover tells that Wonder Woman comes from Greek mythology.
